$1 Kids Color Matching Activity

This is one of the activities I made for my kids to do this summer. I’ve seen this on other websites and blogs and loved it. It teaches multiple things and doesn’t cost much to make. What you need:
Cloths pins
Color swatches (2 of every swatch)
Glue
Scissors

Cut 1 of each color swatch into separate rectangles, then glue the color to a cloths pin. Let dry. Have child match the cloths pin swatch to the non-cut up swatch. This will teach more in depth color matching, and help develop fine motor skills.
This activity only cost me $1! The swatches were free, I had glue and scissors, and I got a 24 pk. of cloths pins from the dollar store.
