Shaw's Catalina

If you're lucky enough to have a Shaw's in your area you're in for a sweet CAT (catalina) deal this week. Buy $20 worth of select products and get $10 off your next order. This past Sunday's inserts had quite a few coupons that match up wth this CAT, and, yes, this CAT is based on pre-sale price (PSP) and coupons do not effect it. I've done this CAT four times so far, and this is what I've got:

2 Barilla Pasta
OOP: $15, got a $10 CAT coupon back

Transaction #3
3 Ragu Sauce
-$1.25/3 coupon from 1/30 RP
2 Wishbone Dressing
-$1.25/2 coupon from 1/30 RP
2 Barilla Pasta
OOP: $13.50, got $10 CAT coupon back

Transaction #4
6 Ragu Sauce
-2 $1.25/3 coupons from 1/30 RP
2 Wishbone Dressing
-$1.25/2 coupon from 1/30 RP
OOP: $12.25, got $10 CAT coupon back

You could use a $10 CAT coupon to pay, but sometimes a new $10 CAT coupon won't print. I don't like to take any chances. Even though I've spent a total of $54.71 OOP, I have $40 in coupons that will pay for my groceries next week. This sale doesn't end until Thursday, so I have a couple more trips planned. Of course I'll have to fight the snow AGAIN! Due for 10 more inches Tues and Wed. BLAH!
